Excerpt:
Six-year-old Pope is a devoted animal lover who adopts Ba the sheep during a car trip from Buenos Aires to Patagonia. For a month while they are on vacation, Pope takes care of Ba and they adventure through the wilderness together. But when the family returns to the city, Pope finds out that some people don't like having Ba around. In the end, Ba has to leave Buenos Aires, and Pope learns that even though they have to be apart, they will always remember the fun times they shared.
